How does the AI vocal remover work?+
A separation model listens to the full mix and splits it into parts: vocals, drums, bass and everything else. For a vocal remover run, the drums, bass and other parts are combined into one instrumental file, and the vocal part is saved on its own. You get both as MP3 files, so you can keep either one or use them together.
Will the voice be completely gone?+
Usually the lead voice drops out very clearly, but separation is never perfect. Heavy reverb, doubled vocals and backing singers can leave faint traces in the instrumental, and some instruments can leak into the vocal file. Clean studio recordings separate best. Listen to the result before you build a project around it.
How long can the song be?+
The song can be up to 8 minutes long and 60 MB. Longer files are refused before anything is charged, and the form tells you the limit when you add the file. If you have a longer mix, cut it into parts first, or use the free edit tab in the Audio Editor to trim it.
How much does a run cost?+
The price depends on how long the song is, in a few steps, and it shows on the run button before you spend anything. A short clip costs less than a full song. Credit packs are listed on the pricing page, and you only pay for runs that finish.
Can I use the instrumental in my own releases?+
Removing the vocals does not change who owns the song. Use only music you made, music you have a license for, or music whose owner gave you permission. If you plan to publish a cover or a remix, check the rights for the original recording and the composition first.
Do I need a subscription?+
Pay once with credit packs, or go monthly. Pack credits never expire. Failed runs are refunded. You can open an account for free and look at the tool before you buy credits.
