The effect you describe
Skip the sound library search and the licence reading. Say what the sound is, and get a file that matches the description.
Text to sound
Write up to 300 characters, such as rain on a tin roof or a soft whoosh, and run it.
1 to 20 seconds
Pick the length. A short hit, a transition, or a longer ambient bed for a scene, from the shortest setting to the longest.
1 credit per effect
About $0.09 at the largest credit pack's rate, whatever the length.
Made for video
Download the file for your editor, or send it to the Video Editor to lay it under a clip. It works with any editor that accepts an MP3.
Refunded when a run fails
A provider error returns the credits to your balance without a support request, so a failed run costs you nothing.
A new file each run
Try several wordings and compare them side by side in your gallery. Earlier results stay where they are, so you can go back to one you liked.
Prompt to sound in three steps
No library, no licensing hunt, no download pages.
Create an account
Free to start. The price shows before every run.
Describe the sound
Write the prompt and choose 1 to 20 seconds.
Download the file
Listen, keep it, or reword the prompt and run again until the sound fits the shot.
AI Sound Effects Generator FAQ
What kind of sounds can I make?+
Anything you can describe in a sentence: impacts, whooshes, ambience, footsteps, UI clicks. The more specific the prompt, the closer the result. Mention the surface, the distance and the mood, such as a heavy wooden door closing in a large empty hall.
How long can an effect be?+
From 1 to 20 seconds. You choose the length before you run. Pick a short length for a single hit and a longer one for an ambient bed.
How much does it cost?+
1 credit per effect, about $0.09 at the largest credit pack's rate. The price is the same whatever length you choose.
How long can the prompt be?+
Up to 300 characters. Short, concrete prompts tend to work best. Describe one sound per run. Several sounds in one prompt tend to blur together.
Do I need a subscription?+
Pay once with credit packs, or go monthly. Pack credits never expire. Failed runs are refunded. You can open an account for free and look at the form before you buy credits.
What if the sound is not what I asked for?+
Reword the prompt and run again. A result you do not like is not refunded, but a run that fails is. Name the source of the sound and how it is played, then try again.
