How is this different from video reimagine?+
Reimagine rewrites the scene from a text prompt. Background swap replaces only the backdrop, from a still or a description, edits each shot of a clip of 4 seconds or more, and is a mode of the swap tool.
Do I need a green screen?+
No. A reasonably separated subject helps, but this is not a chroma-key NLE. Busy overlapping hair on matching colors is harder.
Can I swap only the sky?+
The background swap replaces the whole background with the place you show or describe; it takes no typed region. To change only part of a scene, use Replace object with a photo of the new thing. Full-frame location stills usually beat a tiny sky crop.
Do I need a photo of the new place?+
No. A scene photo helps the new background match, but on a clip of 4 seconds or more you can describe it instead. A clip under 4 seconds is a single edit and needs a photo.
Why isn’t there a try-without-signup button?+

How much does a background swap cost?+
A background swap on a clip of 4 seconds or more is edited shot by shot and priced per shot and length, starting at 12 credits for 4s, 17 for 6s, 22 for 8s and 40 for 15s. Clips with more shots cost more because every shot gets its own edited frame, and the editor shows the exact price before you run it. A person swap is a flat price: 11 credits for 4s, 16 for 6s, 21 for 8s and 40 for 15s.
What if the background swap fails?+
Failed jobs are refunded to your balance automatically. Try again with a scene still that shows the environment clearly.
Do I need a subscription?+
No. You can pay as you go: credit packs are one-time purchases and their credits never expire. If you would rather have a steady supply, the monthly Starter ($7.99), Creator ($19) and Pro ($49) plans refill your credits each month, and you can cancel anytime. Unused monthly credits do not roll over.
