How do I add captions to a video automatically?+
Upload a video of up to 2 minutes with someone speaking, pick the language (or leave it on Auto), a caption style and where the lines sit, and run it. Inflyu writes out the speech, times it to the video and burns the captions into the picture. You also get the same lines as a .srt file.
Where do the captions come from?+
From the speech in your video. Speech recognition listens to the audio and times each word, so the video needs sound with someone speaking. A video with no sound is not accepted.
Are the captions always right?+
No. Speech recognition can mishear names, slang or fast speech. After the first run you can open the result, fix a word, add or delete a line, and burn the captions in again for 1 credit.
Which languages are supported?+
English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Turkish, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Russian, Ukrainian, Greek, Swedish, Japanese, Chinese. Pick one in the tool, or leave it on Auto and the language is found from the speech. If the speech is in a language Inflyu cannot draw captions for yet, the run stops with a message and is refunded. Captions are not translated: they are written in the language that is spoken.
What caption styles can I pick?+
Three. Clean is small text at the bottom. Bold is big text, up to three words at a time, in the middle. Word shows one word at a time, in yellow. You can also move any style to the bottom, the middle or the top of the frame.
How much does it cost?+
2 credits up to 1 minute, 3 credits up to 2 minutes; re-burn after editing is 1 credit. The price follows the length of the video and shows once you add it. A run that fails on our side is refunded. The price is shown before you run.

Can I get a subtitle file?+
Yes. Every run comes with a .srt file that has the same lines and timing as the burned-in captions, so you can use it as a separate subtitle track where a platform takes one.
Is there a free version?+
A free account includes one free video across the video tools, and this can be it. A free result carries a watermark. Editing the words and burning again is 1 credit, also on a free account.
Do I need an account?+
Yes. Create a free account and verify your email, then run the tool with credits. There is no anonymous generation.
Do I need a subscription?+
No. You can pay as you go: credit packs are one-time purchases and their credits never expire. If you would rather have a steady supply, the monthly Starter ($8.99), Creator ($19), Pro ($49) and Brand ($99) plans refill your credits each month, and you can cancel anytime. Unused monthly credits do not roll over.
