AI Photo Motion Transfer FAQ
What is AI motion transfer?+
You give it a still photo and a driving video. It returns a video in which the subject of the photo performs the movement, expressions and lip movement of the driving video.
How is motion transfer different from swapping a person in a video?+
A video swap keeps an existing scene and replaces who is in it. Motion transfer starts from one photo and moves it, so the background and the subject come from the photo, and the performance comes from the driving video.
How much does motion transfer cost?+
From 12 credits for a 10-second driving video. Priced by the length of the driving video: a 30-second video, the longest, costs 33 credits. You see the exact price before you run.
How long can the driving video be?+
Driving videos up to 30 s.
Does the photo have to be a person?+
No. Portraits work, and so do illustrated characters, animated figures and pets. The result is best when the subject faces the camera and is not hidden by objects.
What is the one-second transition?+
The generated clip opens with a one-second transition. Trim first second is on by default and removes it; switch it off to keep it.
Whose photos and videos can I use?+
Only your own, or those of people who agreed. Do not make a real person appear to do or say something they did not. Running it takes an account with a verified email and credits; there is no anonymous generation. If a run fails on the provider side, the credits go back to your balance.
Do I need a subscription?+
No. You can pay as you go: credit packs are one-time purchases and their credits never expire. If you would rather have a steady supply, the monthly Starter ($7.99), Creator ($19) and Pro ($49) plans refill your credits each month, and you can cancel anytime. Unused monthly credits do not roll over.
