Make a Mystery Series
Where Every Clue Counts
A mystery needs a cast of suspects, a secret and clues that pay off later. Write the first case, cast everyone once and Series Studio draws and voices it, then remembers the clues for the next episode. Start free.
For mystery writers and storytellers
A mystery, one clue at a time
You plan the secret; the studio keeps track of what has been revealed.

Moody, clue-rich shots
Describe the letter on the table, the light in the lighthouse, the face that looks away. Style notes set a mood of fog, rain and low light.
A cast of suspects
Each character gets a four-picture reference sheet that every shot is drawn from, so you can tell your suspects apart from episode to episode.
A story that remembers the clues
Keep the arc, what each character knows and which threads are still open. AI drafts read it, so a clue from episode one can matter in episode four.
Voices for every suspect
Choose a stock voice, a cloned voice or one of your own ElevenLabs voices for each character. Lines are voiced and timed.
Any visual style
An illustrated mystery, an anime mystery, a realistic noir look or a gentle cartoon whodunit: the genre works with your choice.
Subtitles for more viewers
The dialogue is English. Add subtitles in 12 other languages when you render.
From a secret to a solved case
Plan once, reveal it episode by episode.
Start the series
Pick the Mystery genre and a visual style, then describe the place and the secret.
Cast the suspects
Describe each character, generate the reference sheet and choose a voice.
Write, generate, render
Paste or draft the episode, make the pictures and voices, render with subtitles and update the story memory with the new clues.
AI mystery series FAQ
Will the AI keep track of my clues?+
The story memory holds your arc, what each character knows and the open threads, and AI drafts read it. You write and edit the memory, so the clues stay as you decided them.
Can I plan the whole mystery before the first episode?+
Yes. Put the secret and the arc in the story memory and write episodes that reveal it a piece at a time. You can edit the memory after each episode.
Can I make an anime mystery or an illustrated one?+
Yes. Mystery is a genre, not a look. It works with the drama, anime, cartoon, 3D animated and illustrated looks.
Do the suspects keep their look from episode to episode?+
Each character has a four-picture reference sheet that every shot is drawn from, which keeps them recognisable. Faces can still vary a little between shots, and you can regenerate a picture until it fits.
What does a mystery series cost?+
Writing or pasting the script and setting up the cast use no credits. Pictures, voices, moving clips and renders do, and the app shows the cost of each step before it runs. Generating needs a credit pack or a monthly plan; a subscription is not required.
Do I need a subscription?+
No. You can pay as you go: credit packs are one-time purchases and their credits never expire. If you would rather have a steady supply, the monthly Starter ($8.99), Creator ($19), Pro ($49) and Brand ($99) plans refill your credits each month, and you can cancel anytime. Unused monthly credits do not roll over.
