How long can a Luma clip be?+
Clips of 5 or 10 seconds. A 10 second clip comes from a prompt alone: with a start image, a clip is 5 seconds. A seamless loop is available for 5 second clips made without an end image.
Which aspect ratios does it support?+
Six: 16:9 and 21:9 for widescreen, 1:1 for squares, 4:3 for classic frames, and 9:16 and 3:4 for vertical formats. The aspect ratio does not change the price.
Does a higher resolution cost more?+
Yes. 720p costs more than 540p and 1080p costs more again. The price on the Generate button always matches the resolution and length you picked.
Can I use the videos commercially?+
Yes. The terms (section 5) grant a licence to use generated content for personal and commercial purposes, and AI video should be disclosed where the law or the platform requires it. Running it takes an account with a verified email and credits; there is no anonymous generation. If a run fails on the provider side, the credits go back to your balance.
Do I need a subscription?+
No. You can pay as you go: credit packs are one-time purchases and their credits never expire. If you would rather have a steady supply, the monthly Starter ($7.99), Creator ($19) and Pro ($49) plans refill your credits each month, and you can cancel anytime. Unused monthly credits do not roll over.
