AI Short Film Generator
From One Page Of Script
A short film is a scene or two with people talking. Write that scene, cast it from photos, and Inflyu shoots it in clips of about 20 seconds that you can redo until the take is right.
For short-film makers, storytellers and social creators
Built for the short form
A film of up to about 80 seconds, shot clip by clip, so a bad take costs a draft and not a film.
Scenes become clips
Your script is split into clips of about 20 seconds, up to 4 of them, with up to 6 shots in each.
A real cast
2 to 6 characters from photos, each with a face-only reference and a wardrobe line that is repeated in every shot.
Redo one take
Redo a clip with a new seed, or edit its prompt and redo with the same seed to change only what you edited.
A rough cut first
Join the drafts into one rough cut to judge the pacing before any clip is finished in 1080p.
Captions and end text
Word-by-word captions from the real audio, an end text card and the Inflyu end card.
Wide and vertical
Make it 16:9, or 9:16, and get a blurred-fill vertical copy from a wide film.
From scene to short film
Four steps, with a price on each button.
Add your cast
Upload one photo for each of 2 to 6 characters, or pick a persona you already made, and write what each one wears.
Write or paste the script
Paste a script with spoken lines, or let AI draft one. It is split into clips of about 20 seconds.
Watch drafts, redo or approve
Make a 480p draft of each clip with its price shown first. Redo a take with a new seed or an edited prompt, then approve the ones you like.
Finish in 1080p and assemble
Only approved clips are finished in 1080p. Then the clips are joined at 30 fps with end text, captions and the Inflyu end card.
AI short film FAQ
How long can an AI short film be?+
A film has 2 to 6 characters and up to 4 clips of up to 20 seconds each, so up to about 80 seconds in all, with up to 6 shots in a clip and one speaker in each shot. The script can be up to 6,000 characters.
Can I make a short film with dialogue?+
Yes. Write each line after its speaker’s name. The characters say them in the clip, and each shot has one speaker. You can add directions in brackets and sound effects in angle brackets.
How do I keep control of a take that goes wrong?+
Every clip is a 480p draft first. Redo it with a new seed for a different take, or edit the prompt and redo with the same seed to change only what you edited. Nothing is finished in 1080p until you approve it.
Can AI write the script for me?+
Yes. “Draft with AI” writes a script from a few lines about your idea and your cast, in the dialogue language you choose. It is an optional paid step with its price on the button, and you can edit the result.
Do the characters look the same in every shot?+
Each character is built from the photo you upload plus an automatic face-only crop of it, which the video model gets as an extra reference, and you write one line about what the character wears. This keeps faces and clothes close from shot to shot, but it is generation, so a face can drift in some takes. That is what the cheap 480p drafts are for: redo or reject a take before paying for 1080p.
What does it cost in credits?+
Creating the film, pasting your script and setting the language are free. Each step that makes something shows its price in credits on its own button before it runs: a face crop for each photo, an optional AI script draft, every 480p draft, the 1080p finish of the clips you approve, and the final assembly. The 1080p finish shows its total for all approved clips before you start. AI film needs paid credits, so a free account cannot afford a draft; a credit pack or a monthly plan unlocks it.
Can I post it on Shorts, Reels and TikTok?+
Yes. Choose 9:16 for the film, or make a 16:9 film and switch on the 9:16 copy, which centres the wide film over a blurred fill. Inflyu also writes a post caption with a question hook, a call to action and at most five hashtags.
Who owns my short film?+
The terms grant a licence to use what you generate for personal and commercial purposes. Only upload photos of people who agreed to appear, such as yourself, friends, or actors with permission, and disclose that the film is AI-made where the law or the platform requires it.
Do I need a subscription?+
No. You can pay as you go: credit packs are one-time purchases and their credits never expire. If you would rather have a steady supply, the monthly Starter ($8.99), Creator ($19), Pro ($49) and Brand ($99) plans refill your credits each month, and you can cancel anytime. Unused monthly credits do not roll over.
