Short Drama,
Made for the Phone Screen
Short dramas work in small, tense scenes: two or three people, one secret, an ending that makes you tap the next one. Write the scene, set the series to vertical and Series Studio shoots it for you.
For short-form storytellers
Made for short episodes
Small casts, fast scenes and captions that read on a phone.

Vertical by default
Choose 9:16 for the series and every shot is composed for a tall frame. Add 16:9 later if you also want a wide cut.
Written line by line
Each line of the script becomes a shot with its speaker and its picture, so you control the beat of every scene.
Drafts that end on a hook
Ask AI for a draft and it writes toward a cliffhanger, using what happened in earlier episodes.
Burned-in subtitles
Captions can be drawn into the video for viewers who watch with the sound off.
A small cast, kept
Up to 12 characters, each with a reference sheet and a voice, reused in every episode.
Motion where it counts
Leave quiet shots as pictures and turn the key moments into 8-second moving clips.
From scene to episode
Write small, render vertical.
Pick vertical and the Drama look
Set the format to 9:16 and add a note on the mood: night street, hospital corridor, rooftop.
Write the scene
Paste a short script or ask for a draft that ends on a cliffhanger, then edit the lines.
Generate and render
Make the pictures and voices, add motion to the shots that need it and render with subtitles.
AI short drama FAQ
How long is one short drama episode?+
It follows your script: each line is a shot, and a moving clip lasts 8 seconds. Shots left as pictures last as long as their line is spoken. There is no fixed running time.
Can I make the series vertical only?+
Yes. Set the format to 9:16 when you create the series. You can change it later in the series settings.
Are the voices acted?+
Lines are voiced with a voice you choose for each character. They read the script in a natural voice; they are not an actor’s performance.
Is the dialogue only English?+
Yes, the dialogue is English. Subtitles can be added in 12 other languages at render time.
What does a short drama cost?+
Writing or pasting the script and setting up the cast use no credits. Pictures, voices, moving clips and renders do, and the app shows the cost of each step before it runs. Generating needs a credit pack or a monthly plan; a subscription is not required.
Do I need a subscription?+
No. You can pay as you go: credit packs are one-time purchases and their credits never expire. If you would rather have a steady supply, the monthly Starter ($8.99), Creator ($19), Pro ($49) and Brand ($99) plans refill your credits each month, and you can cancel anytime. Unused monthly credits do not roll over.
