What is a Character ID?+
A set of 10 to 16 photos of your AI influencer that you pick from 16 generated ones and lock. New images use up to four of the locked photos as references, and video uses them too.
Can I make a character of myself?+
Yes. Save yourself as "Me", then build a Character ID for "Me" from the Character tab in Creative Studio. "Me" is kept out of your influencer limits.
Is this a trained model or LoRA?+
No. A Character ID is a locked set of reference photos. New images use up to four of them as references, and video tries a reference-to-video model first. It is reference-image conditioning, not a trained model, so likeness is strong but can vary.
Does it work for video too?+
Yes, in new posts and Studio videos. Video first tries a reference-to-video model fed with the locked photos, and may fall back to animating a still generated from those photos.
Which plans include it?+
Creator, Pro, Business and Agency include a limited number of Character ID builds; Free and Starter include none. Any other build is paid with credits. See the pricing page for current details.
What if a build fails?+
If a build does not finish, the plan build or credits it used are returned automatically.
Can I change a Character ID later?+
Yes. Rebuild it any time. A rebuild is paid with credits, and the old locked photos stay in use until you lock the new set.
Which tools can use a saved character?+
Video Editor swap and talking photo, Image Editor try-on and face swap, and Make headshot, through the "Use me" picker. On Canvas, an Influencer card uses its Character ID photos, and a switch in the card settings turns that off.
Can I add a voice too?+
Yes — clone a voice for the character once and Voiceover and Talking Photo pick it up automatically.
Do I need an account?+
Yes. Characters, Character IDs and cloned voices live on your account, not an anonymous session.
Do I need a subscription?+
No. You can pay as you go: credit packs are one-time purchases and their credits never expire. If you would rather have a steady supply, the monthly Starter ($7.99), Creator ($19) and Pro ($49) plans refill your credits each month, and you can cancel anytime. Unused monthly credits do not roll over.
