What does the AI Reel Maker do?+
It has two modes. In One reel you add your own clips and the AI picks the best moments and cuts one vertical reel, with captions, a hook line and transitions. In Shorts you add one long video, such as a podcast, a talk or a vlog, and the AI finds up to 10 standalone shorts, each with a title, a post caption and a vertical crop that re-centres on the speaker. One reel: up to 20 videos and 30 min of footage (5 min on a free account). Shorts: up to 3 videos, 3 to 60 min in all (10 min and 3 shorts on a free account). The tool also has a Generate with AI tab, which builds a reel from a prompt when you have no footage.
How long can the reel be, and how much footage do I need?+
A reel is 15 s, 30 s, 60 s or 90 s long. A length is offered only when your footage is at least 1.5 times as long (a 30 s reel needs 45 s), and a reel needs 10 s of footage at least. Shorts run 15 to 30 s, 30 to 60 s or 60 to 90 s, from 3 to 60 min of video. A reel comes in 9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 16:9 or Original; shorts come in 9:16, 1:1 or 4:5. Each video can be up to 2 GB.
Can I change what the AI picked?+
Yes. For a reel you can reorder the moments, add another one, edit or turn off the hook text, and choose the caption style (Clean, Bold pop or Word by word) and the cut style (Auto, Hype, Story or Aesthetic). You can render up to 5 versions of a reel, and Make another version re-plans it in another style. For shorts you can pick how many to find (Auto, or 3, 5 or 10), remove a short, and nudge where it starts and ends.
How does the sound work?+
You choose the sound after the cut, for each reel or short. Original audio is the default and costs nothing. You can add AI music, AI sound effects or both, priced per track on the length of your cut. For a 30 s reel, AI music is 5 credits, AI sound effects 6 credits and both together 11 credits. Your own track (up to 50 MB) costs nothing. Cut to the beat moves the cuts of a reel onto the beat of a music track, and it is not offered on shorts. A project can hold up to 6 soundtracks.
How much does it cost?+
6 credits for one reel, 10 credits for the shorts of a long video; AI sound is extra, from 3 credits for a 15 s reel. The price is shown before you start. A project covers its renders (up to 5 for a reel and 3 for each short), captions and the hook text, and sound is charged per track when you add it. If the project fails on our side, its credits are refunded.
Is there a free plan?+
You can create a free account at no cost. A free account has lower limits: up to 5 min of footage for a reel, up to 10 min and 3 shorts for the shorts of a long video, and 2 renders of a reel. A paid account takes up to 30 min of footage for a reel, up to 60 min for shorts and 5 renders of a reel. Renders made on a free account carry the Inflyu watermark. A project and its sound are paid with credits (6 credits for a reel, 10 credits for shorts), and spending credits needs a verified email.
Do I need a subscription?+
No. You can pay as you go: credit packs are one-time purchases and their credits never expire. If you would rather have a steady supply, the monthly Starter ($7.99), Creator ($19) and Pro ($49) plans refill your credits each month, and you can cancel anytime. Unused monthly credits do not roll over.
