Is the AI Reel Generator really free?+
The account is free, the output is not. Signing up costs nothing and needs no card, so you can open the tool and set up a job, but a 3-clip Reel is an influencer video, and influencer videos need any credit pack. Credit packs start at $1.99, are one-time and never expire. There is no subscription.
What can I do before buying a pack?+

Do I write the scenes myself?+
Not here. The Reel option writes its own three beats. If you want to script each scene, Reel Studio is the tool for that, billed per clip.
Do I need a subscription?+
No. You can pay as you go: credit packs are one-time purchases and their credits never expire. If you would rather have a steady supply, the monthly Starter ($7.99), Creator ($19) and Pro ($49) plans refill your credits each month, and you can cancel anytime. Unused monthly credits do not roll over.
